Thomas John Sievers, of Wolf Point, Montana, passed away on October 10, 2026. Born on May 9, 1951, to Harry and Bernice Sievers, Tom lived a life defined by hard work, generosity, and, above all, an unwavering love for his family.
Tom married his high school sweetheart, Cheryl Boysun, on October 16, 1971. Together, they built a beautiful life centered on family, raising their daughters, Melissa, Jill, and Heidi. Tom was a devoted husband and an incredible dad to his girls. He showed his love through a lifetime of sacrifices, lessons, laughter, and always being there when they needed him.
A hardworking farmer and talented carpenter, Tom took pride in everything he built, from his beautiful potato crops to the life he created for his family. He loved bird hunting with his dog, Vida, fishing, cattle drives, ball games, and rodeo. He was also his family's biggest sports fan, traveling countless miles to watch his children and grandchildren compete and cheering them on over the phone whenever he couldn't be there.
Tom's greatest pride and joy were his seven grandchildren: Micayla, Ethan, Hunter, Valerie, Sydnie, Hudson, and Emily. He was much more than a grandfather; he was a second father, a patient teacher, and their biggest supporter. He checked in with his daughters and grandchildren every day, making sure they always knew how deeply they were loved. He was blessed to meet his great-grandsons, Summit and Strand, whom he adored, treasuring every moment with them.
Tom was known for his incredible work ethic, generous heart, and willingness to help anyone in need. He gave freely, loved deeply, and left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him. His greatest legacy will always be the family he loved so fiercely and the generations who will carry his lessons and love forward.
Tom is survived by his beloved wife, Cheryl; his daughters, Melissa (Dan Schumacher), Jill (Jim Kolstad), and Heidi (Bob Severson); his grandchildren, Micayla (Kole), Ethan (Angie), Hunter (Aubrey), Valerie (Michael), Sydnie (Jordan), Hudson, and Emily (Bryce); his great-grandsons, Summit and Strand; his brothers, Michael and Paul (Dana); his sisters, Cathy (Mike), Alicia, and Harriet; his sisters- and brothers-in-law, Penny, Judy, Grant, and Jackie; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Bernice Sievers; his beloved baby boy; his parents-in-law, Nick and Pearl Boysun; his brothers-in-law, Skip Clayton and Cliff Page; and his niece, Chrystal.
Tom was one of a kind-a devoted husband, an extraordinary father, and grandfather whose love knew no limits. His family will forever miss his steady presence, his lessons, his laughter, and the comfort of knowing Dad was always there. Though his work on earth is finished, the love he gave so freely will live on for generations. His greatest legacy is the family he built, the love he gave, and the lives made better simply because he was here.
