Tania Rae Feather

Tania Feather, age 56 of Fort Kipp, Mt. passed away in the comfort of her home on February 18th, 2026.

Tania was born in Devil's Lake, ND to Gloria Buck Elk and Bruce Feather. Tania attended schools in both Culbertson and Billings, Mt. She worked at various motels in both Billings, Mt. and Minot, ND.

Tania was a mother of two daughters, Jaquinta Ward and Eloise William and a son, Spirit Feather of whom she was extremly proud of. Tania took great joy in being a mother and grandmother, always sharing photos and stories of her children and grandchildren.

She took great joy in listening to music, taking pictures, watching cooking shows and of course spending time on Facebook. Tania being one of the eldest siblings among her cousins, always made sure to take care of her siblings and cousins. She had a huge heart and never could tell anyone no or turn anyone away, she gave what little she had, no questions asked.

Tonia is survived by her her children Jaquinta Ward, Eloise William, and Spirit Feather, her grandchildren Kevaughn, Parker, Essence, Legacy Fast Horse, her Mother, Gloria Buck Elk, sister, Mellissa Feather, her Aunts Bernadine Mandan (Tom) Juanita Baker, Roberta Baker, Adelaide Baker, and uncle Robert Buck Elk as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A wake will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 25th at 7pm at the James Black Dog Center. Funeral services will be held on Thurs. Feb. 26th at 1pm at the James Black Dog Center. Interment at Fort Kipp Cemetery.
