Simon Peter Follet, age 52, was born December 3, 1961 and went to be with the Lord on September 17, 2014 in Billings from complications of diabetes.
Simon attended school in Frazer and played basketball and track. He liked to hunt, fish, throw horseshoes, and liked playing pool. He worked as a firefighter (sawyer), on the oil rigs, worked as a seismographer, and worked at A & S Industries. Simon also worked as a farm hand and bus driver.
Simon is survived by his wife Lisa Bear Hill, his father Joe McConnell and brothers Ira Follet, Sr. and Harris McConnell. He is survived by sister Anona Pearl McConnell. He is survived by his daughter Alexandrea Follet and son Wade Follet. Simon is survived by adopted kids Curt Birdhat, Misty King, and Candace Birdhat. He is survived by his granddaughter Sceriah Benally and last surviving uncle Tyrus (Fern) Follett; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and grandchildren. Simon is survived by his stepmother Deborah Hamilton.
Simon was preceded in death by his mother Arlene Follet, his son Sloan Follet, stepfather Harold Hamilton, and an infant sister. He was preceded in death by his uncles Abel Follet, Sr., Elvis Follet, Sr., Harry Follet, Jr., his cousin Eric Follet, and grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Harry Follet. He was preceded in death by his auntie Sadie Blount. He was preceded in death by his uncle Russell White.
A prayer service will be held on Monday, September 22, 2014, at 7:00 p.m. at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Stevenson Chapel in Wolf Point. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point. Interment will follow at the Oswego Presbyterian Cemetery in Oswego.
