Nicholas John Diserly

Our beloved son, brother, grandson, great-grandson and nephew, Nicholas John Diserly entered the gates of heaven on June 3, 2025.

Nicholas was born on May 28, 2009 to Tiffany Bear and Daniel Diserly. Shortly after his birth his parents separated and he moved to Devils Lake, ND with his mother. After awhile Nicholas was joined with Ryder, Michael, Mori III and MaKenzi. Being a big brother, he enjoyed and loved them very much, playing many games mixed with lots of laughter! He would especially love it when his dad and great grandparents would come to see him. His eyes would light up and run to them with arms wide open.

When Nicholas was six he moved back to Montana to live with his dad and great grandparents. He attended school here in Poplar receiving straight A’s the whole time. In high school he joined the wrestling and football team and loved it. After school was let out he would be seen working for the Tribal Youth Summer Program. Last year he worked with ARWSS where he did such a good impression on them that they were going to rehire him again this summer.

Nicholas enjoyed driving around, lifting weights, being on the computer, or just strumming his guitar. He was also active at the catholic church.

He is survived by his parents Tiffany Bear (Mori Whitetail) and Daniel Diserly; siblings Ryder, Michael, Mori III and MaKenzi Whitetail; great grandpa Arlie Diserly; grandmas Denise Buckles, Diana Diserly-Tuttle, Debbie Bear, Cissy Eagleman, Dina Diserly, Judy FastHorse, Patti Jones, LouAnn Lester, and Karen Cain; grandpas Marvin FastHorse, Randy Birthmark, and Lee Tuttle; uncles Matthew Buckles, Dallas Welch, Leonard Hillard, George, Jonas, Marvin, Carlos, Malcolm, Kevin, Ervin, Michael, Tyreik, Alex, Maurice, John, Christian, and Randy Jr.; aunts Marian and Rachel Goodbird, Passion and JaCee Longee, Erin Martin, Misty Diserly, Rita Diserly, Becky Lopez, Jessica Bear, Amanda FastHorse, Shanna Bear, Crystal Welch, Ashley Hillard, Sioux, Jessica, Kathy, Tyrae, Diana, Kayla, Julia, Gloria, Chelsea, Frankie Ann and Stacey Standing and numerous cousins.

He is preceded in death by his great-grandmas Gloria Diserly and Frances Welch; grandpas Daniel Bear Sr., Donnie Welch, Dallas Welch, Edward “John” Bear, Kevin Birthmark and Frank Diserly; grandma Melvine “Mena” Birthmark; aunts Rose Buckles and Angel Diserly; uncles Isiah Birthmark and Richard Schwan.
