Wolf Point

Mitchell Roy Thompson Sr., 47 of Billings, MT died July 30, 2025 at Faith Lutheran home surrounded by his loved ones after a long battle with Pallido Ponto Nigral degeneration.

Mitch was born in Wolf Point February 6th, 1978 to Linda Marie Adams & Victor Michael Thompson. As a young boy his family located to Great Falls. Where he was raised amongst his cousins and friends as siblings, as he was an only child. In high school he excelled in basketball and football. His parents were his biggest fan and supporters. They followed him proudly. Every Thursday his mom would have the whole team over for Indian tacos- serving many! He was awarded a scholarship and attended college in Dillon, MT. In 1997 returning to Wolf Point to reside with his parents, caring for dear grandmother Edythe Thompson in her last years of her life. Mitch gained employment for Sansaver Construction where discovered his calling & career choice.

Year 2000 Mitch met Lauren Jetmore marrying 9/22/06. From that union they were blessed with four children- Angelica Noel (12/04/01) Mitchell Roy Jr (12/04/01) Dean Michael (07/23/08) and Halo Natalia (09/25/12) He loved being a dad- they were his pride and joy. He loved seeing his kids happy and to spoil them.

Summer 2004 Mitch and Lauren moved to Billings where he began employment working for M.R Concrete and Riverside Sand & Gravel. He was such a hard dedicated worker until he was physically unable to do so.

He was friends to so many. He loved to entertain everyone, he was a generous host, kind and funny. He loved to joke and tease. A trait definitely passed down from his father!

Up until the last days of his life, telling some of the girl CNA’s he was a gangster lol.
