Milfred "LilMan" Longee

January 30, 1988 — September 23, 2025

Poplar

In loving memory of our beloved husband, son, brother, father, uncle, cousin and friend, Milfred Dale Longee -AKA Lil’man; who passed away on the morning of September 23, 2025 at the Billings Clinic.

In his younger years he danced grass until one day he stopped. He went to school in Poplar for a short while until he went to school in Billings Jr High then moved to Havre. He talked about being a Havre Blue Pony while he was in sports until he decided to come back. He was with the late Lisa Martell and together they had five children, Melissa, Fayebin, Romaine, and Dale Longee. Lil’man was in their lives for quite some time and made fond memories with them. He then met Samantha Savior in 2011. They started dating, hanging out and he moved in her. He raised Aaron like his own. He started working at the sugar beets in Sidney, MT from the years of 2013-2016. They had their first son together in 2017. Their son Ruffus Longee was born on his mother Sam’s birthday. In Lil’man’s words he said “There I gave you a birthday present” as he laughed and smiled. Then in 2019 their daughter, Mackenzie Longee was born. Lil’man and Samantha got married on February 14, 2022. He then started going to college for 2 years for welding. Lil’man liked his sports. He played basketball or even just shooting around or throwing a football back and forth. He liked taking his kids fishing, swimming or anywhere to spend time outdoors. He went to sun dances a couple times. Lil’man loved cruising, hanging out with his family, friends, and his kids. Back in September of 2022 is when he first got sick. He became okay and slowly healed to where he wanted to go try playing machines. He liked to play cards, whist or spades. He would laugh at the ones he beat because they would get mad. Lil’man is also a good 654 dice player. Anybody that called him to the table, he came with his dice in his hands ready to roll. Once he won, he would say “Let’s go again, I ain’t done”. Lil’man had a heart for all who knew him. He respected everybody. If you need help, he’ll do his best on what he can do. He liked fixing bikes or if he sees something in the house that needs to be fixed, he will fix it. Lil’man liked taking rides to just visit everybody downtown or at home playing xbox all day. There would be days he stays up all night playing and sleeping all day. Lil’man you will be missed by many. Specially your smile and your crazy sense of humor. We’ll miss just seeing you at home playing our game or laughing at videos on your phone.
