Michelle Redboy

September 22, 1997 — March 20, 2023

Michelle Carlene RedBoy, age 25 of Poplar, Montana, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023 at the Billings Clinic in Billings, Montana with her mom at her side.

Michelle was born on September 22, 1997 in Wolf Point, Montana to Kathy Red Eagle and Charles RedBoy. She grew up in Poplar and attended Poplar schools until her Senior Year. She received her Hi-Set degree on January 24, 2019 and we were so proud of her!

Michelle met Vincent Longtree in September of 2015 and together they had her one and only baby son on September 5, 2016. Lakota Tex RedBoy-Longtree, “Kota” as she always called him, will always be the love of her life. She was a proud mom to 3 boys, Lakota, Michael, and Gabriel and she loved them all very much.

Michelle enjoyed working for her Grandma Nancy at Nancy’s Housekeeping but due to health problems, she spent most of her time at home with Vince and their 3 boys. She enjoyed spending time with her mom, dad, sisters and brothers. She always had fun with her nieces and nephews, Jadelynn, Jordan, Colson, Rylynn, and Ryanna. She was patiently waiting for the arrival of her latest nephew in May.

When Michelle wasn’t with her mom or Vince, you could find her with her sisters or brothers, Alyssa, Ryan, Alice, Haidyn, Lanie, Hailynn, Josh, Jacob, Cat Ida, Brit, Alicia, Angela ‘LaLa’, Te’Aira, Shelby, Darris, or Marcus ‘Kayla’.

Michelle was a very loving and kind-hearted person. She was always willing to help with anything she was able to. She was the only who would climb in the attic for her Grandma, go to the basement for her Auntie Glenna, or drive for her Auntie Carole. All of Michelle’s aunties thought of her as their own.

Whenever there was a birthday party or a family gathering, Michelle was always there, ready to help whenever she was needed. She loved having a good time, laughing, joking, and visiting with everyone. Her favorite part was the frosting fights, which were always started by Josh. She would laugh or smile and never get mad when she ended up with a face full of frosting.

Chelle’s hobbies included going for rides with her mom or sister, playing machines, listening to music, and visiting with family friends. She always had time for a napping beside her mom, watching a movie with Alyssa and Haidyn, or just relaxing at home with Vinny and their boys.

Michelle was preceded in death by her Grandpas Glenford Tex RedEagle, Dennis RedBoy, Sr.; Grandma, Angeline “Snookie’ Wallowing Bull, Junia Walking Eagle-Jones, Beverly “Baby Lou” RedEagle, Reba Ogle, Carlene Walking Eagle and Nola Culbertson, Auntie Amanda Bull Chief, Genine Red Eagle, Denise Good Bird, Toni Wallowing Bull, Janis and Jonna Spotted Bird; uncles, Dooley Black Thunder, Dean Good Bird, Byron Good Bird, Delmar Jr., Emery “Jumbo”, Harold, Dennis and Darryl RedEagle.
