Our beloved Dad, Son, Brother, Grandpa, Nephew, Uncle, Jason Darrell Brown Sr. "Baller" left us way too soon to make his way to meet up with his brothers, Grandparents, cousins, and all his other relatives who left before him. He was loved and will be missed immensely. He started his journey to the spirit world on July 24, 2026.

Jason was born on December 7, 1979, in Williston North Dakota. His parents are Maizie & Arnold Young Bird and Thomas 'Pudd" Brown.

Jason "Baller" as everyone knew him by was raised in Poplar, he graduated from Poplar High School in 1998, he participated and excelled in Basketball, Cross Country, and Track. Hence receiving the nickname "Baller". Jason took his sports seriously and did everything to the best of himself. He loved going hunting, and fishing with family and friends and cruising around.

He attended Fort Peck community College where he pursued and received his AAS Degree in Building Trades. He worked in different jobs in the area including Fire Fighting, Carpentry, and the Modernization Unit with the Fort Peck Housing Program.

Jason was a happy-go-lucky person, always joking around, laughing and if you see him, he will always say hello and with a big smile. He loved playing basketball with his family and friends. Visiting around with his children and brothers, cousins, his mom and Arnold and the rest of his family. Jason has a large family and extended family. He loved his children and grandchildren and all his relatives. Jason had a lot of friends, and he made friends wherever he went. Friends and close relatives he grew up with played and participated in sports with so many we didn't want to offend anyone, so we didn't list you, but you know who you are and he loved all of you. There is a lot more that we could say about Jason "Baller" Brown just know that he will be greatly missed and he was loved by his entire family and friends.

He leaves behind his Daughter Jaidee Brown from Rocky Boy, Cadence & Mya from Poplar, His Son Jason Brown Jr. from Poplar, Grandchildren: Addilyn, Kennedy, Winona. His Mom Maizie and Arnold Youngbird, his dad Pudd Brown, his brothers, Myron Olson and Michael Brown from Poplar, and Les Ogle from Missoula. His Nephews: Raymond Jr., Sage, Jacob, Mitchell, Stephen, Myron Jr., Ryder, River, Alex. Nieces: Siouxmani, Mariah, Mylee, Tyrae, Lillie, Jennifer, Francesca, Rhea, Keyontai & Siblings, Grandchildren: Kezryn, Aniyah, Carson, Carmen, Colin. His Uncle Elmer Ogle, His Aunts Mary & Greg Plante, Judy Ogle and Arnie Big Horn, Shari Ogle all from Poplar, Ronette Red Boy from Wolf Point, Jolene from Billings, his Grandmother Gloria Garcia & Family from San Jose, Ca., Grandpa Arlie Diserly & Family, Cousins: Aaron, Louis & family, Lyssa & family, James & family, Daniel & family, Lance & family, Stephanie & family, John & family, Launa & family, Nikolas & family, Connor & family, Cameran, Braydan, Krysta & family, Trenton & family. Extended families, Ogle's, Red Eagle's, Brown's, Diserly's, .lceman's, and many more too numerous to name individually. We didn't want to leave anyone out, it wasn't our intention.

Jason "Baller" Brown joins his brothers, Morris "Robbie" Olson Ill, and Raymond Brown Sr., His Grandparents Ray and Reba Ogle, Anna & Bill Coulter, His Uncles Raymond "Abby" Ogle, Leonard "Oscar" Ogle, Lloyd "Slugger" Ogle, His Aunts Jewel Ogle, Frances Iceman, Cousins Markie Vandall, Whitney and William Ogle, Brandon Red Boy, Charles Clark, Neice Kayla Olson and Grandson Ariyon Whiteman and extended family members.

A wake will be held on Monday, August 3rd at 7:00 p.m. at the Poplar Cultural Center. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 4th at 11:00 a.m. at the Poplar Cultural Center. Interment will follow at Poplar City Cemetery. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements. Condolences for the family be left using the guestbook below.
