Jamie Lynn Smoker” Owanhinke Wiya” Lightning Woman went home to be with the Creator on January 6, 2021 in Billings, MT.
Jamie Lynn was born on August 25, 1981 alongside her twin brother, John Paul to Niki and Llewellyn Smoker in Wolf Point, MT.
Jamie grew up in Frazer, MT with her parents and five siblings, many cousins, and best friends. Jamie was a talented person from the start, from being a star runner, basketball player, and the most beautiful cheerleader on the floor.
Jamie would always tell the story about the day John came home and announced that he joined Cross Country. She knew her adé was going to tell her she had to join too, and sure enough, he did. It was worth it though, as they were very well known, and the best competitors around the State of Montana.
Growing up, Jamie was extremely close with her family. She spent most days with her siblings, various cousins, and friends. Her family home was the place to be they always had a full house, full of laughs, full of love, and non-stop visiting.
Jamie Lynn had a one in a million personality anywhere she went she lit up the atmosphere with her beautiful smile and crazy humor. She was a stubborn, fearless woman, or in her words “I ain’t never scared”.
In 1996, her sophomore year of high school she met the love of her life, Corey Lilley. Even before they began dating, she would tell all her best friends that she was going to marry him.
In 1998, her senior year she found out she was pregnant with her first baby, Koree Lynn. She and Corey proceeded to have 5 more children and adopt 2. Jamie loved children and always wanted the best for them.
She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
