Harold Dean Dupree, Sr., age 66, went home to be with his lord on Sept. 11, 2020.
Harold was born and raised in Poplar, MT by his parents Raymond Dupree, Sr. and Beatrice rosebud Dupree. He was born on July 30, 1954.
He loved hunting and fishing, walking and working outside as he was an outdoors person, he was also a fixer upper so he liked repairing things.
Harold loved Gospel and Pow-wow music and Western movies. He liked to tease and joke around. Harold worked as a dishwasher at Denny’s in Billings, he was a hard worker. He liked giving family members nicknames. He loved his family very much and they meant the world to him, he always prayed for them and was concerned. He had a kind heart.
Harold is survived by his only daughter, Becky Sue Bird; sons Harold D. Dupree, Jr. and Murray Dupree; grandchildren Jason, Courtney, Edmund, Jewel, Harold Dupree III, Jayden, Xavier, Semora, Harper, Helen Rose, Sage and Mariah; great grandchildren Makennan, Skyler, J’Lyssa, Raymond, Kiśon, Treston, Trenton, Mi’sun Otter; Doris Bird-mother of Harold’s children and life long friend; adopted children, Michael, Andrew and Stephanie Greybull; adopted sister, Lorna Drum; sister Donna Follet; brother Calvin Dupree; nieces Mildred Follet, Francine Follet Bissonette, Earlene, Deann, Marta, Autumn, Misty, Sue Ann, Wilhamena, Nanette, Alva, Sylvia, Shyann, Billie Ray, Raylene, Sammy; nephews Abel Follet, Jr., Royce Follet, Roman Follet, Breon Dupree, Terry, Cory, Leroy, William, Ralph and David “Manny”. Harold had many grandchildren and great grandchildren whom he loved very much, some of which he hasn’t met.
Harold is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Dupree, Sr. and Beatrice Rosebud Dupree; sisters Laverne Dupree Two Hearts and Rita Jones Smith; brothers Raymond Dupree, Jr., Darryl M. Dupree, Earl Jones, Jr., Leonard P. Dupree and Wendell R Dupree; great granddaughter Avalena Ann; grandsons Charles Follet, Seth Follet, Brady Dupree; nephews Darryl Jones, Earl “Chebbs” Jones, Jr., Francis “Billie” Two Hearts, Jr.; nieces Rosebud Dupree and Ladonna Dupree.
Harold will be greatly missed by his family, relatives and friends. If we failed to leave anyone out, we apologize.
