Evangeline Theresa Vijil aka Terri Redboy went home to be with her heavenly family on September 28, 2026 in Farmington, NM. Terry was born on November 23, 1968 in Poplar, MT to Lorraine Red Boy and Benjamin Fast Horse. Her parents passed away early in her life so she was raised by her grandmother Lela Red Boy, along with her siblings and cousins. At nine years old she went into foster care and was raised by Donald & Carol Osgood until she graduated. She attended Poplar Public Schools and graduated in 1987 from Poplar High School. Upon graduation she went to Clearfield Job Corp in Utah, where she met her husband, Arnold Vijil. They married and had five children; Quentin, Lane, Cynthia, Michelle and Angela, she also had 7 grandchildren, Jaden, Tessa, Arlo, Raine, Elyko, Noctis and Andrea whom she loved dearly!
Terri was a devoted mother and a fiercely proud grandmother. She was a lifelong San Francisco 49er's fan and loved to watch them play! Her heart belonged to her grandchildren. Her spirit was as strong as her love for those around her, she loved to laugh and have a good time! She leaves behind a legacy of laughter, loyalty, love and memories that will be cherished forever! She has a very special sister/cousin Waynette Boyd whom she was very close with and loved dearly, she enjoyed chatting with her on the phone catching up with any news of Poplar, reminiscing and laughing about the stuff they did in their High School days!
Terri is survived by her husband Arnold Vijil, sons; Quentin A. Vijil and Lane Vijil, daughters; Cynthia M. Vijil, Michelle Long Knife Wolf Tail and Angela J. Vijil all of Farmington, NM. Grandchildren; Jaden Qualo, Jessie Yazzie, Arlo Yazzie, Raine Vijil, Elyco & Noctis Long Knife Wolf Tail and Andrea Curley. Her brothers Adrian Red Boy and Paul Feather.
