Dustin Lee Kohl

Our beloved Dustin Lee Kohl passed away on June 8th 2026.

Dustin was born on June 8th,1995 to Susan Jones and David Kohl. Growing up Dustin loved doing all the things adventurous boys loved doing. From jumping off the shed onto the trampoline, to riding the hills and back roads on four wheelers. He loves shooting his airsoft guns and fireworks at everyone and everything.

As he got older, he loved cruising on his motorcycle and truck while listening to music.

In his earlier young adult years Dustin met Merciline Grayhawk the mother of his eldest son Jonah Grayhawk (Kohl). Some years Later he met Alexis Boyd, together they had 2 daughters Christian & Bella Boyd (Kohl). Dustin loved his children and their mothers very much. Dustin loved everyone he crossed paths with.

He was a sweet and caring man, hard-working, and a supportive father. He had incredible work ethic and was very driven in anything he did.

He will be missed by his Dear friends Dan Franklin and Midas Lambert.

Uncles, Daniel (Sheryl) Kohl, Frank Smith, Raymond Smith, Cecil Smith and Brian Jones. Aunties, Karen (Joe) Fielder, Cindy (Robert) Wilson, Marlene Smith and Lahoma Young. Cousins, Michael (Erin) Kohl & kids, Karolyn (Chris) Hartsoch & kids, Brian (Rockelle)Kohl, Joseph (Kezia)Kohl, Mikey Young, Connor Kohl, Karen (Loren)Simons & kids, Ashley (Ramon) Simons & kids, Destinee (Andrew) Young, Labrea Boadle & kids, Jordan Jones & Kids, Logan Boadle and Liberty Boade. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lawrence “Boots” Kohl, Thelma Jean Jones, Gabriel ”Mickey” Young, Beverly RedEagle, Bud GoodBird, Marie Bets His Medicine. Great-grandparents Dave & Amelia Smith and Mary RedEagle. Uncles, Tyrone Jones, Al Bets His Medicine and Dean GoodBird. Aunties, Amanda RedEagle, Clarina Smith, Shirly Smith, Barbara Smith and Jimanne Smith.

We apologize if we forgot anyone Dustin was loved by many.

Dustin will be missed by all who knew him.

A viewing will be held on Monday, June 15th from 6-9pm at the Poplar Cultural Center. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 16th at 11:00 a.m. at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Poplar City Cemetery.
