Dale King went home to be with the Lord, Monday February 10, 2014. He was born in Poplar, MT, to Birdie (McKean) and Kenneth King. Dale enlisted in the Army, and later discharged, at which time he made his family with special friend Pie Jackson, and had baby Dale John Jackson, Brandy Jackson and took Brian Jackson as one of his own as well. Later he married Trish Ann and had Eagledale King, 34 in Oklahoma. In 1979 he returned to Poplar and had a child with Linda Clark, and that was Sunburst King. Then on February 14, 2000, he married Luella Douglas and added three more step- children, Tara, Claire and Larry. Later he met Jovel Campbell and shared his life with her for a few years. His last years were spent with his companion, Eileen Four Star. Dale had many family and friends and brothers Alex Calder, William (Billy) Beaudry, and Tahazi Garrick Robinson.
Dale loved crafts and was proud of all his work. He liked wood working and fixing junk cars and turning them into unique art of his own.
Dale is survived by his daughter, Brandy Jackson, and son Eagledale King, of Oklahoma. Brothers, Leroy Martin and John King. Sisters, Patsy (Tom) Jensen, Minnie (Jon) of Wyoming, and Jayni Anderson of Poplar. Grandchildren, Charlene Sims, of Washington, Robert (Trista) Jackson of Wolf Point, Sabrina (Wayne) Black Eagle of Idaho, Lacey, Kayo, Tory, Jon, Kalissa, and Liana Jackson of Wolf Point, and great granddaughter Tristina Jackson.
A wake will be held Wednesday, February 12, 2014, at 7:00 p.m. at the Wolf Point Community Hall in WolfPoint. Funeral service will be Thursday, February 13, at 11:00 a.m., at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in WolfPoint. Interment and graveside services will be held following the funeral services at Chelsea cemetery.
