Clarice Kay Big Leggins, 67 of Frazer, MT passed away peacefully with family by her side on May 29 th , 2023 at Billings Clinic in Billings, MT.
She was born to Isaac Follette and Eva Firemoon Follette on June 11 th , 1955 in Wolf Point, MT. She attended school in Frazer and later in Othello, WA where she was on the LDS Morman Placement Program. Later moving to Helena, MT to further her education and received her GED. She worked in activities at the Helena Indian Alliance – a job she enjoyed.
Clarice met DeWayne Big Leggins in 1978 and were married later. They moved back to Wolf Point in 2008, Clarice loved traveling and seeing the country side with DeWayne in 1995. She loved to go on evening drives and watching sunsets, loved animals, cats and dogs. Always rescuing stray dogs or cats. She loved her big dog “Buster”. Also loved being home, playing boardgames, doing puzzles, watching TV and listening to music. She was known to all by her nickname “Bootie”. She always had you laughing when you would visit her.
Clarice is survived by her husband, DeWayne Big Leggins of Frazer; her sons, Christopher Follette of Frazer, Eric Lester of Denver, CO; her brothers, Dennis Follette (Flora) of Helena, MT, Benson Follette of Tempe, AZ; her sister, Thelma (Manny) Smith of Wolf Point; grandchildren, Eli, Alyssa, and Eldon Follette, Jessika and Brandon BigLeggins; nieces, Thelma, Eva Gray and Latrisha Comeslast (Adam) Kay Follette, Darlene, Lexi, Marion Follette, Meloni, Carol, Vicki Blount; nephews, Darrell, David, Leonard, Neil, and Ethan Follette, Tom and Novi Blount, and many more.
Clarice is preceded in death by her mom and dad, Eva and Isaac Follette; her brother, LeRoy Follette; her sister, Lovella Carrier; son Roy Big Leggins; grandfather and grandmother, Thomas and Lucy Firemoon; uncles Wesley, Leroy, Jack, Lyle, and Delwin Firemoon, Harry Follet, Sr.; aunts, Mildred, Evaline, Firemoon; nephews Russell Gray, Jr., Nathan Gray, Dennis Follette, Jr., Verle Follette, Steven and Michael Follette, and many more relatives, too many to mention. Extended families include Follette, Firemoon, Oats, Blount, Miller, Lilley, Jackson, Bearcub, and Follet families. Sorry if we forgot anyone, it was not intentional.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 5th at 11:00 a.m. at Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
