Charles “Charlie” Pribbernow, 65, passed away sadly after a lengthy battle with cancer on March 24, 2026 at St. Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, Montana. Charlie was born October 31, 1960 to Anna Pribbernow and Clarence Pribbernow in Poplar, Montana.
Charlie was educated a few years in Glasgow, Montana and then relocating to Poplar, Montana where he finished school up until his 16th year of age Charlie, then begun working at the age of 16 for a garbage truck crew, and worked various jobs at A&S, Firefighting crew, and the oilfield is where he found steady work as a Derrick hand on both the drilling and service rigs.
Charlie really enjoyed his hunting with family and friends, brush walking or cruising the hills looking for that trophy, he also had a good craft in artwork, and he also enjoyed tinkering around on the keno machine, root digging, and also loved taking care of his yard and all his plants.
Charlie is preceded in death by his parents; Anna and Clarence, daughter, Chelsea Pribbernow, brothers; Barry, Ventura, Curtis Belgard, sisters; Karen Raviscioni, Sharon Huffor.
Charles is survived by sisters; Jeannie (Darrell) Werner, Lisa (Carl) Ritterpusch, children; Travis(Carrie) Pribbernow, Charles(Jessicca) Pribbernow, Chassidy Bighorn, Tray Pribbernow, also taken in as a son; Chucky (Celestine) Plante, Lenard (Mary) Hilliard, Grandchildren; Tyler Pribbernow, Travis Pribbernow Jr, Anna Pribbernow, Chance Pribbernow, Chasen Pribbernow, Channing Pribbernow, Bryson Beauchamp, Andrew Beauchamp, Payton Beauchamp, Colter Beauchamp, Ivory, Garfield, Willa Renville, nieces, and nephews; Eli Ritterpusch, Arin (John) Grainger, Derek Werner, Dana Werner, Joey Ventura, Tracy Longtree, good cousin; Steve Lodmell, “and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins as well as many dear Friends”.
Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements. Condolences for the family may be left using the guestbook below.
