Brayden Joseph Jackson, 18, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 26, 2018. He was greeted with open arms by all his grandparents.
Brayden was born to Myron Jackson Sr. and Renee Fettig on October 4, 1999. He attended Elementary and Junior High at Nashua School and transferred to Frazer High School his Freshman year; graduating in May 2018. Brayden was a very talented athlete, excelling in basketball and baseball/softball. No matter what sport he joined, he excelled. His sophomore year, he broke the 3 point record with 11 3 pointers and sat out the whole 4th quarter. In 2012, Brayden was on the Glasgow 12 & under All-Star Baseball Team. They took 2nd at State and made it all the way to the Regionals in Meridian, Idaho. The team was made up of mostly 11 year olds. His fielding and pitching skills played a big part in the Team’s success. In Brayden’s younger years, he was his Papa Frank’s sidekick, right handman. They had many adventures together. Brayden would even wake up early and turn his Headstart sign to “go”, just so he could skip school and hang out with his Papa.
Brayden is survived by his mom and step-dad, Renee and Willie Fettig; his dad and step-mom, Myron and DeJondra Jackson Sr.; brothers, Baby Myron, Alex, Blue, John and Jesse; sisters, Brianna and Katelyn; grandmas, Mary Sue Jackson, Joan Clampitt Todd, Roberta Gone, Jerri Grimsrud, Wilberta Toavs, Meryle Montclair, Millie Hotomanie, Shirley Flynn, and Cindy Hotomanie; great-grandma, Rosie Fettig; grandpas, Roger Flynn, Craig Grimsrud, Perry Flynn, Henry Hank Flynn, Ken Clampitt, Charles Clampitt and Tom Flynn; great-grandpas, Henry “Prince” (Ruby) Brockie and Wendlen Fettig; god-daughter, MaLayna Mary Escarcega; and numerous uncles, aunties, cousins, nephews, and nieces.
Brayden is preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Wilbert Jackson, August “Gus” and Mary B. Hayes, and Frank and Joan Clampitt; grandparents, Reginald Hotomanie, Elvis Hotomanie, Michael Hotomanie, Gary Hotomanie, Wilbert “Chief” Jackson, Clarence “Indian” Jackson, Emerson Jackson, James Jackson, Rose Mary BullChief, Frances Jackson, Rosalyn “Toni” Archdale; uncle, Roger Flynn Jr.; and Lionel and Shirley, Mike Ryder, and Ruth Hotomanie.
A wake will be held 7 p.m. Sunday, September 30 at the Frazer Community Hall. A funeral service will be held 12 p.m. (noon) Monday, October 1 at the Frazer High School Gymnasium. Interment will follow at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Frazer. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel of Wolf Point has been entrusted with the arrangements.
A four day feed will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, September 29 at the Frazer Community Hall. A wake will be held 7 p.m. Sunday, September 30 at the Frazer Community Hall. A funeral service will be held 12 p.m. (noon) Monday, October 1 at the Frazer High School Gymnasium. Interment will follow at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Frazer.
