Beulah Siljenberg

November 29, 1937 — September 29, 2023

In the early morning hours of September 29, 2023 our beautiful, sister, wife and mother was called home to be reunited with the very large close family she missed for so very long, but never let it show, instead always loved and cared for her family here, but someday, she would say will all be together again.

Beulah Louise Siljenberg was born November 29, 1937 to Mitchell and Amy (Paulson) Granbois, the first born of this union, and later joined by brothers Larry (Buskie) and Gene Granbois, whom she was in charge of in school! Being big sister and all! Later in Mitchell’s second union to Leona (LeMay) the family welcomed Doug, Gary, Dennis, Darrell and Doreen.

Beulah attended schools in Pierre, SD with her friend Roberta Martell and also Poplar schools active in cheerleading. Beulah married Larry Siljenberg on June 16, 1956, they were married at the First Lutheran Church in Glasgow, MT, the couple made their home at Buzzard’s Glory.

Upon entering the US Army Larry was joined by Beulah living off base when stationed at Fort Hood, TX and Fort Leonardwood, Missouri. Larry fulfilling a 6-year obligation for the Army, upon discharge from the couple returned to the farm 37 miles north of Wolf Point in the community of Benrud where they welcomed their son Kelly, to join his uncles and always a kitchen full of cousins and neighbor’s kids, all wanting to be Beulah’s favorite.

The family moved to Saco, MT where Beulah was employed at many jobs including work at Sleeping Buffalo and O’Brien’s café, then housewife and mom.

Upon returning to Wolf Point, Beulah was employed with Nancy’s housekeeping at IHS Clinic in Poplar. Throughout her retirement years she enjoyed gardening, canning, jigsaw puzzles, rodeos and western movies and Molly B’s Polka Party and old country and bluegrass music, but most of all her pets of which were small house dogs and a few too many cats!

Beulah was greatly loved by many and will always live in the hearts and minds of all who knew her.

Beulah is survived by her husband Larry; son Kelly both of Wolf Point; sister Doreen; brother Doug; 3 grandchildren, Dayle, Violet and Dusti Rose; 13 great grandchildren and special niece Shantell Fowler and grandnephew Ethan.

Beulah is preceded in death by her parents and an enormous extended family of which these are just but a few, Granbois, Brien, Burshia, Bighorn, St. Germaine, Squires and Taylor.

An extended heartfelt thank you to the staff, nurses and doctors of Trinity Hospital and Faith Lutheran Home. Your caring and compassion for Beulah during her final months made this time bearable.

Beulah Siljenberg passed away on September 29th in Wolf Point. Funeral services are pending at this time.
